I just got the Blackberry Curve. My sister also has it, and when she puts her Blackberry in its case, it automatically just “goes to sleep” and the keyboard locks. She and I can’t figure out how to make this work on mine. Somebody help please!

I really just want the phone with its features such as texting and the calendar. I really don’t want the internet for $30/month or whatever the guy said. I talked to the employee at Verizon Wireless and he said even if I bought a Verizon Blackberry off of craigslist or something I would still need to purchase the data plan. Is this true? Or does anyone know a way around it? Thanks!

I have a Blackberry Curve 8330 and when I am in Facebook on my Blackberry, I click
Menu->Options-> but then the box to click to sync my contacts with my Facebook is grayed out and it won’t let me check mark…..
HELP! This is driving me crazy!!!!! I want them to be all sync’d together.

I’ve already tried powering off and on, going into connections and checking the mobile network, and taking out the battery and putting it back in. Each time, the “radio” only stays on for a few seconds, and then it just says “off” up where my bars of service should be.
I’m so frustrated, and I don’t know what else to do! Please help!

i found the phone i wanted on there for 149 with a 149 rebate and i was wondering if there was some hidden contract or if they have good delivery time. i’m not looking to add another line and it just seems like a scam. it’s a blackberry bold. they usually are around $400 WITH a new contract.

I have been having a lot of trouble with it freezing up on me all day, but to get over it, I just took the battery out and put it back in. Now the buttons and screen will only glow. It vibrates when I get a text still. The icons and screen itself just do not show up. I’ve tried pushing buttons and replacing the battery and charging it. Nothing seems to work. I need help!

I’ve gathered that these are the top smartphones out today. Which of these (if any) are the best? Is there anything else out on the market that is better?

that is the one i wanna get but i won’t be using it a lot, pretty much calls, i think it looks hot and i just wanna get it for free..
but hey what if i wanna text or use the AIM service every once in a while, will it actually let me use it and charge me for every message i send? or will i have to add the blackberry plan in order to use the AIM and text features?

i just bought a blackberry curve and a coule of days ago it stopped connecting to the internet. theres a message that says “unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. if the problem persists please contact your service provider.” i did that but it didnt help. anyone know what to do?

I already bought some ringtones, I just can’t find an option to change the audio for incoming text messages. Any help would be greatly appreciated! ^.^

I think it is an excellent phone for the money. It is the 1st 3g blackberry, the graphics are excellent and the internet is good. I have not heard any complaints about it and I have yet to see a warranty exchange for the phone. It also has wi-fi so you can hook it up to a wi-fi hotspot nd surf the internet faster.

I need a blackberry to use on att service

I just got one last week and already I found a lot of problems.
- battery dies within 2 days (even when I barely use it)
- can’t download maps for gps (b/c something about not having the right system)
- don’t know where to enter the PIN to the “wireless access point”
Please help me, are all these things suppose to happen? (battery life, maps, and wi-fi)

I deleted aim’s service book but whenever i turn my phone on i’m always signed into aim. It still works and I just want to get rid of it. I reinstalled it and deleted the application, and I took out the battery once while it was on and once while it was off. I don’t know what else to do!

Whenever I go to youtube and watch a video from my blackberry the video is always very low quality and I don’t see the hq option like there usually is if you go on a computer. Is there a way to play a youtube video with high quality on the blackberry and if so how?

I just got a Blackberry and signed up for Blackberry service (data pack). I am unable to access full internet with my service, though. For example, I can sign onto Yahoo Answers and look but not answer questions. Similarly with ebay, I can look but not place bids. I also cannot watch youtube videos.
My first question is, should I be able to do these things? I was under the impression that Blackberry service gave me full internet access. Second of all, I ordered a 4GB memory card (4 GB is maximum capacity for the phone). Will this help to load pages that will not currently load or is the memory for pictures/videos and music only? Help on any or all of the above is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

I have a new blackberry and im still learning how to use it, i dont know how to use bluetooth or anything like that i just want to get one song onto my phone so i can make it my ring tone….can someone please help meeeee!?!?

will the phone turn on if it is locked? the phone i have turns on you just cant make any calls because the service was canceled. does this mean that it is locked?

I would like a blackberry and all of its features but I do not need blackberry messenger, or any apps that run off of satellites, and the phone is WiFi compatible so it makes sense that it would be free like an iTouch.
